Whether it’s early in the day or late at night, Sandbar in Mission Beach is always a good decision when you’re boozing by the beach. The upstairs sky bar is an ideal place to drink cocktails, chow down, or to just hang out during sunny summer afternoons. The bloody marys are the perfect hang over cure and the bar menu is extensive enough to feed even the hungriest beach broseph. In the evenings, the San Diego locals tend to congregate in the sky bar while the dance floor goes off in the main bar downstairs. Sandbar consistently has the best party at the beach with a bumping DJ, cheap beer specials, stiff cocktails, and plenty of sexy boys and girls.
Best Beer Bar: Liars Club
The best selection of local microbrews and imports coupled with a rockin’ jukebox filled with local San Diego bands makes this bar an ideal place to chill out and booze with some of San Diego’s more rowdy locals.
