Bars in Tijuana

If you’ve never been boozing in Mexico before Tijuana will probably be the first place you go. Tijuana has long been a popular area for college student who travel here to drink. The legal drinking age in Tijuana is 18. On almost any weekend night the Tijuana bars are packed with college students who come down from San Diego and L.A.. Avenida Revolución has many open bars nightclubs and discos. The bars located on Revolucion are geared to attract tourists. There are always waiters standing in front of the bars enticing tourist by offering a free shot of tequila or a free beer, it can get quite annoying at times. If you get off the main street a little ways there are plenty of nice nightclubs that do not have the touristy hassle.
