Pricey, as you'd expect downtown, but its really worth the money for the views across the bay to Coronado and beyond and into the next door Petco Park. I'd avoid this place like the plague before or after a Padres game.

Rated the Best Rooftop Bar in the Gaslamp Quarter (amongs several other awards), Altitude is a great bar to grab some drinks before going to a ballgame or before hitting the nightclubs in downtown.  For Singles over 30, this is the joint to make friends with San Diego's beautifully sophisticated and young-at-heart singles. With a clear view of Petco park and the Harbor, hot local DJ's pumping jams, and a heated lounge area, you likely will not leave this kick-ass rooftop & lounge bar.   Also, this is the hottest venue in San Diego for private parties and events.  Check out the website to find out more...
