My two experiences at the Brick Alley were the later. The service is very slow, we had to get our waitress twice to refill our soft drink disrupting her conversation with the hostess. My draft beer, was served warm and the food was horrible. We ordered the Garlic Pesto Pizza with chicken. There was no pesto that could be seen or tasted. The only green were chopped parsley leaves on the top of the pizza. For those who don't know, Pesto, especially at these prices, is made with Basil and Olive oil and is an emulsion. We couldn't decided if the chicken tasted more like mushrooms or fish, it certainly didn't smell or look like chicken. Let me add, I'm not just an average Foodie, I host an TV food show that airs all over the United States, New Zealand and Australia. I have several blogs and forums around the net that you can bet are going to receive a similar notice regarding this establishment. For Very Bad and inattentive service (alright, it wasn't totally inattentive, she grunted at us both times we asked for a soda refill), Bad Food (it's been over 3 hours since I left and I still can't get the bad taste out of my mouth. Plus exuberant prices (4.50 for coke!) Oh and don't ask for water, they serve you unfiltered tape water... for all of this (remember I've been their twice and had a similar experience both times) Good ole Grilldog has to rate you with a Hind Leg Salute... I'm not going back.
