Chateau Orleans is one of the only places to listen to Live Jazz and Blues in Pacific Beach.  Cajun food is the Chateu Orleans specialty.

Kaiserhof in Ocean Beach is known for being consistantly voted as the best German food in San Diego as well as having a great selection of German beers on tap.  Check out the outdoor biergarten, which is really nothing more than a deck with a few tables.  But the deck is fenced in so and actually has a chill European "beer garden" atmosphere.

Callahans Pub and Brewery is located in Mira Mesa

From the outside this beer bar looks a bit seedy.  But don't let that fool you because once you get inside you will see that Hamiltons Tavern is a beer lovers paradise. On the 2nd Saturday of each month this South Park pub selects one local brewery and features several of their beers on draft at a discounted rate.
